The goal isn’t to follow this perfectly it’s to have a simple structure you can return to every day.

Minute 1: Breathe & Be Present

Before I open my Bible, I take 60 seconds to just be still. No phone, no talking, no multitasking.

What I Do:

  • Take 3 deep breaths

  • Say a simple prayer: "God, be with me in this moment"

  • Let go of the mental to-do list

Why This Matters:
My brain is already racing when I wake up. This minute helps me transition from "rush mode" to "present mode."

Even one minute of stillness can begin to calm your mind and prepare your heart for the day ahead.


Minute 2-3: Read One Scripture

I don't try to read a whole chapter. Just one verse or a short passage.

I used to think prayers had to be long and eloquent. Now I know they just have to be honest.
