When Your Faith Feels Tested

Hi, my dear reader.

There are moments in life when your faith feels steady… and then there are moments when it feels like everything is shaking.

I’ve had both.

There have been days when I felt strong and confident in God and other days when I quietly wondered, “Lord, where are You in this?”

If you’ve ever felt that way, you’re not alone.

Faith isn’t about never struggling.
It’s about choosing to trust God even when things don’t make sense.

When life feels heavy, I always come back to Scripture. Not all at once. Just one verse at a time.

Sometimes that’s all you need.

A Simple Truth About Faith

Faith doesn’t mean you’ll always feel strong.

Some days, faith looks like confidence.
Other days, it looks like holding on quietly and saying, “God, I still trust You.”

And that’s enough.

One verse. One prayer. One step at a time.

What Faith Really Means

I came across a definition of faith that stayed with me, and I want to share it with you:

In the book Education, Ellen G. White explains that faith is trusting God and believing that He loves us and knows what is best for our lives.

She reminds us that faith leads us away from relying only on ourselves and gently guides us toward God’s way instead. Where we may lack understanding, God gives wisdom. Where we feel weak, He gives strength.

Faith is not about having everything figured out it’s about surrender.

It’s choosing to trust that God sees the full picture, even when we don’t.

She also highlights something I’ve learned in my own journey: when we truly trust God, our lives begin to reflect truth, integrity, and a deeper sense of peace.

That kind of faith changes how you live, not just what you believe.

Final Encouragement

You don’t need perfect faith.

You just need a willing heart.

Even the smallest faith can carry you through more than you think.

Hold on to that.
